come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to
such as these.""
We love our children dearly
and endeavor to raise them in a loving, Christ-centered environment. First
Presbyterian Church has always worked hard to provide our children with
the knowledge of a loving and caring God. This is demonstrated through
our "Moment With Children" during the Sunday morning worship
service as well as in the wide range of activities and programs we provide
for the kids:
Nursery
Care
We offer nursery care during Sunday Morning Worship Service
(also during Sunday School when a parent is available to sit). We have
a caring group of people who offer their time and experience towards working
with the children.
Sunday
School
We offer Sunday School classes for ages 2 through adult. Children
are invited to learn from Bible stories and share time with other kids
their age. September through May, Sunday School classes begin at 9:00
am and end by 10:15 am.
Junior
Church
We also offer a special time for children (nursery age through
5th grade) during the sermon time of the Sunday Morning Service. All children
are invited to come make crafts and learn lessons from stories in the
Bible.
Vacation
Bible School
During one week every summer we offer Vacation Bible School
for children of preschool age through 5th grade. Each day from 9:00 am
until noon we have activities, lessons, songs and games to teach children
about God's love. VBS 2008 runs July 21-25!! Registration FULL.

Junior
and Senior High School Youth
Once a week our youth groups "Presby Youth" meet for Junior
High and High School aged kids. Our plans include service trips, retreats
and other surprises! We wish to share the importance of a personal relationship
with Jesus Christ in the lives of our young people. Check out the Presby
